As the Finance Director for Barnes FMC and Strömsholmen, you will be a contributing factor to making an already successful international group within its industry even stronger. You work closely within the business and participate actively in everything from profitability improvement and governance to business development. An essential part of the role is to support the organization, both locally and globally, with the financial team regarding financial reporting. You hold the primary responsibility for ongoing communication with Barnes Industrial regarding forecasts and results for Barnes FMC. In addition, you will be responsible for the coordination and development of all units' financial functions within FMC with operations in Sweden, China, South Korea, USA, Canada, India, Great Britain and Mexico. You establish strategies, budgets and CPIs for all companies within FMC together with the SBU leader and all existing FMC companies. You ensure that the internal control environment for all companies within FMC is following Barnes Group policies, including SOX. You will have 6 direct reports whereof 4 outside Sweden. You formally report to Segment Finance Director, Barnes Industrial. Location of the job is at our factory in Tranås.
We are looking for an MBA graduate or equivalent. You have several years of experience as CFO or financial manager in an international group structure. You have probably worked in a manufacturing company and have good knowledge of and experience of an international environment. You have very good understanding of accounting, but your primary interest lies in the analysis which is linked to business development and that the business is driven forward. You also have experience working actively in the management team. Since Strömsholmen is part of an American group, you need to have good knowledge and experience of US-GAAP and SOX. We assume that you master Swedish and English in both speech and writing. As Barnes FMC is in a growth mode, experience for M&A is an advantage.
