Director of Strategic Marketing and Product Management
Force and Motion Control has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a Director of Strategic Marketing and Product Management in the Force and Motion Control Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Sound interesting?
In this role you will be responsible for developing the overall business strategy for future growth by leading global product management, including pricing and marketing functions of Force and Motion Control. The purpose of this role is to identify and propose new market segments, acquisition strategies and evaluate existing and new product lines of FMC in relation to strategy. This position also has the responsibility of leading the marketing of FMC and its capabilities to new and existing customers in alignment with FMC business and financial targets.
Key responsibilities in this role is to establish the vision, strategy and target markets in support of financial targets and to drive increased market share of the FMC product portfolio in alignment with the FMC global business strategy. Also, to create, manage and launch digital solutions, including e-commerce for business to business usage. You develop the methodology to conduct the competitive analysis for the brands product lines, benchmark competitors, and identify key markets. You also develop, implement and follow up pricing strategies for all FMC products and services to ensure profitability. In the role, you generate new business by leveraging existing product portfolios and explore the introduction of complementary product lines and you are responsible for driving new product introductions to market successfully. You lead and expand the global digital footprint of FMC brands, collaborate with supporting functions to ensure all aspects of new products introductions are coordinated for market success and work in conjunction with sales to infiltrate new markets and or customer segments. The location for this role is flexible, but preferably you are able to work from our head office in Tranås a couple times a week.

To be successful in the role we believe that you have B.S. Degree in Business, preferably in Marketing or related discipline, equivalent country degree and/or experience, MBA is a big plus. We also believe that you have a minimum of ten years of marketing or product development experience and a minimum of three years of leadership experience, in a global environment. You have a proven track record of implementing and successfully executing strategies to build and sustain a high-performance work environment. Your personal qualities are important to us.
